This forecast from ABI Research highlights the growing trend for retail merchants to provide a better customer experience as mPOS terminals turn mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, into virtual cash registers. As a result, customers can cut the waiting lines.
mPOS terminals are also highly beneficial to smaller, financially-constrained merchants that cannot purchase countertop POS and PinPad terminals.
