Long-Term Evolution (LTE)/4G will continue to be the leading connectivity for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) through the rest of the 2020s. ABI Research expects LTE FWA subscriptions to grow at a CAGR of 6.6% between 2023 and 2029, reaching 143.7 million subscriptions by the end of the forecast window. However, 5G FWA subscriptions are quickly catching up, at a CAGR of 35.2% (118 million subscriptions by 2029).
