Rockwell’s Emulate3D Factory Test at GTC 2025 Highlights that the Vendor Needs to Focus Narrative on How it is Supporting Holistic Digital Transformation Journeys

Rockwell Automation demonstrated the capabilities of its new digital twin software solution, Emulate3D Factory Test at NVIDIA GTC 2025. The tool supports automation control testing and validation, and is integrated with NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD, allowing manufacturers to create high-fidelity simulations of an entire factory. While Emulate3D Factory Test is a strong point solution, it does not stand out as a core innovation differentiation in the way Rockwell Automation likely hoped. Partnerships with NVIDIA are struggling to stand out in a world where everyone is a partner, with a prime case being the release of Omron’s own digital twin solution at the same NVIDIA event.
