While technological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools have made onboarding easier, the issue plaguing nearly every frontline manufacturing space goes beyond training. The real problem begins with a lack of awareness among younger generations. People simply do not know the career is an option. It is only though real, focused efforts in expanding and altering the perception of frontline manufacturing jobs that the skilled worker shortage will find a sustainable solution.
