ABI Research forecasts the market for data center HVAC hardware revenue to grow from US$13.1 billion in 2025 to US$15 billion in 2035. Conventional systems currently contribute the most to data center air cooling hardware revenue, followed by multi-split type & DX type, packaged units & self-contained units (CRAC), and VRF.

Liquid cooling represents 24% of the data center cooling hardware market at US$3.2 billion and is forecast to grow to US$17.3 billion by 2035 with an 18.4% CAGR, representing 47% of the data center HVAC hardware market share.
