The overall shipment numbers will still be relatively low that year before 5.4 million VR devices will ship with 5G Advanced positioning in 2026, followed by nearly 688,000 AR RedCap-supported shipments, and more than 745,000 AR 5G Advanced positioning-capable device shipments. By the end of the decade, a total of 77.5 million AR/VR devices are expected to ship with 5G Advanced connectivity.
