Agentic AI Becomes Increasingly Distributed as Edge AI’s Value Proposition Addresses Latency, Cost, Reliability, and Data Security Concerns

By Reece Hayden | 28 Oct 2025 | IN-7964

Agentic Artificial Intelligence (AI) is still commercially immature and remains constrained to the cloud. However, as it develops, enterprises will look to build distributed Agentic AI systems that bring compute to data, and vice versa. This will solve technical bottlenecks and commercial inefficiencies. This could have an impact on the rapidly growing data center market—especially certain neoclouds that are accumulating huge debt burdens to support AI data center Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) for large, centralized clusters.
