As a Senior Analyst working in the Telco Cloud Platforms and Digital Transformation practice at ABI Research, Pablo provides research and analysis on the future development of telecoms operators along with its implications for the wider TMT ecosystem. As part of his research, he is in charge of identifying long-term opportunities and new growth areas for telcos across multiple end-markets.
Prior to joining ABI Research, Pablo held the role of Senior Analyst leading the Smart Cities IoT Intelligence service at IHS Markit. In this role, he produced research and forecast addressing the future state of the smart city market and its many vertical categories. In this role he gained extensive expertise of the whole smart city value chain including smart cities platforms, connectivity in smart cities, the future of mobility, et al. Before covering smart cities, he worked in IHS Technology telecoms operator team analyzing telecoms operators’ strategies such as M&A, multiplay, and OTT partnerships.
Pablo holds an MRes in Social Anthropology from the University of St. Andrews and an MA in War Studies from King’s College London.
