David Lobina

Research Focus

Research Analyst David Lobina is part of ABI Research’s Strategic Technologies team, working on research for the Industrial, Collaborative & Commercial Robotics and the AI & Machine Learning services.

Past Experience

Prior to joining ABI Research, David worked in academia for more than 10 years, teaching and conducting research in cognitive science, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as in psychology and linguistics. In 2017, David published a book on these topics with Oxford University Press. A Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Oxford at the beginning of his career, David also worked at the University of Barcelona as a lecturer and at University Milano-Bicocca as a researcher. More recently, David has worked as a freelance data analyst, and has written for 3 Quarks Daily..

Education

David holds a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Barcelona, an MA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, and an MA in Linguistics from University College London.
