Industrial Control Systems Security

New cybersecurity technologies are emerging for Internet-connected operational technologies, such as industrial control systems. The connectivity of traditionally closed industrial settings represents a new threat vector for cyberattacks. IT-based cybersecurity is a misfit for such settings and requires an adapted, OT-centric approach based on different requirements. Impacted markets are those of an industrial and manufacturing nature where industrial control systems are used, and notably critical infrastructure sectors. This industry shift concerns OEM vendors, industrial operators and security vendors.
