Japan Post, Apple, IBM, and Aging in Place

Japan Post’s Aging in Place service will see Apple iPads loaded with IBM-created apps used to help aging customers, a large and growing part of the population, with reminders and alerts about medications, exercise, and diet. The iPads will also provide direct access to community activities and supporting services such as grocery shopping and job matching, according to IBM and Apple.
