Rugged, Waterproof, and Vertical: the HTC RE Camera


Camera evolution has taken a backseat—or rather, a lesser publicized position—in the product development of many smartphone vendors, as they turn their attention to wearables. Many manufacturers (including Motorola, Samsung, and last but by no means least, Apple) have all recently launched wearable devices, or more specifically, smartwatches, that are designed to provide increased access to the kinds of information and intelligent features offered by present-day smartphones. These kinds of products aim to add more expediency to the user's life, offering similar (if not the same) applications as well as compatibility with the phones most of us carry.
