Continental’s New Multifunctional Smartphone Terminal (MFST)


According to announcements, Continental’s new MFST enables car drivers to use their smartphones conveniently and safely. This system is designed to be universal and can, in theory, be used in any class of car. The MFST combines wireless charging of the smartphone battery, wireless antenna coupling, and near-field communication (NFC). A clear advantage is that these three features do not require a cable connecting the phone to the vehicle. In addition, the modular design allows vehicle manufacturers to decide which features they want to offer in their models.
