Intel’s Basis Announces the Next Version of Its Daily Activity and Fitness Watch


Basis, an Intel company, has announced its second-generation fitness watch. Called Peak, the new model carries forward many of the characteristics of the company’s first fitness watch while applying developments from deployment and market evolution as well.

Basis claims it has the most accurate fitness tracking and sleep quality device on the market. Commercial shipments are expected in October 2014 with broad retail and e-commerce availability in November 2014 for a suggested retail price of US$199.99.
