London and California Link Wi-Fi Networks through Hotspot 2.0


The city of London with its river Thames public Wi-Fi network has joined the American cities of San Francisco and San Jose, California, in creating the world’s largest municipal Hotspot 2.0 network. The trans-continental network that is enabled by Ruckus and Global Reach—a Wi-Fi software provider that specializes in Hotspot 2.0 solutions—will allow the citizens of any of the three cities to roam freely and seamlessly in their home network and into the other two cities’ networks when visiting.
