KUKA Robotics has released two marketing videos that demonstrate the features of its new LBR iiwa cooperative robot (Here and Here). The videos highlight how the LBR supports interactive and adaptive assembly. That is, the LBR iiwa has the ability to work cooperatively with humans (interactive assembly), as well as change work processes in real time based on feedback from a human coworker or the robot’s own internal sensors (adaptive assembly).
