NAGRA Brings Together CAS and DRM as AnyCAST


At IBC, NAGRA will unveil its new, integrated, end-to-end product portfolio under the anyCAST moniker. This portfolio seeks to engage operators around both the risk and complexity of its pay TV offerings; the overarching philosophy is that every operator sits in a unique position in terms of a number of key environmental factors impacting piracy, including:

  • Content value/exclusivity/quality/ARPU
  • Content delivery—IP or cable, satellite, or DTT as well as one- or two-way implementations
  • Market broadband penetration
  • Piracy, cultural, and regulatory factors within the markets served

Bringing this into the content protection domain, NAGRA has rebranded key elements of its content security portfolio with active verbs. NAGRA’s product descriptions are summarized below:
