AT&T: Cow Tipping with COLTs, COWS, and Wi-Fi?

On July 23, AT&T announced its Superhero Team to deliver mobile broadband to its subscribers at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. The annual 5-day festival packs as many as 150,000 visitors into the San Diego Convention Center and Gaslamp Quarter. AT&T addressed this crushing traffic load and density with two Cell on Light Trucks (COLTs), a Cell on Wheels (COW), and numerous Wi-Fi APs to supplement its network capacity. This question at hand is whether Team AT&T delivered superheroic results, or was this a network cow tipping event, so to speak, where load tips over the network and brings it crashing down.
