GE Announces GE-Link, Its Wireless Smart LED Bulb System


GE Lighting is putting its weight behind the smart lighting market with its new GE-Link offering. So far, the smart home wireless embedded LED bulb market has been pioneered and dominated by the popular Philips hue offering. GE, like Philips, is a major player in the lighting market. Its plan to compete with Philips in the market is a significant boost to the market’s wider potential but it also brings sharp price competition.
