Nest Brings Back Smoke Detector after May’s CPSC-led Recall


Nest Protect was re-launched on June 17, 2014 after de-activating its faulty wave feature to silence the alarm. Nest Labs had temporarily discontinued sale of the Nest protect after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on May 21, 2014 issued a recall notice for the product.
