Last week, Google made a bold statement about enterprise mobility by acquiring Divide, a workspace management vendor, for an estimated US$100 million to US$200 million. Surprisingly, Divide made the announcement on the company webpage, while Google remains mum on the subject. The important takeaway is that Google is moving in a direction to support enterprise mobility. But in which direction is Google moving is the more important question.
