In early April, a “controlled” mPOS hack was brought to the world’s attention. The hack, completed by MWR InfoSecurity, was announced along with an accompanying video during this year’s Symposium on Security for Asia Network (SyScan) conference. But what does the hack mean, and can or will it have an effect on future mPOS terminal security developments or potentially make merchants think twice about adoption?
