AllSeen Alliance Gains Broader Industry Support


AllSeen Alliance announced that six new industry members have joined its effort to collaborate on the AllJoyn open source project to create an interoperability standard for connecting devices to the Internet. Launched in December 2013, the alliance has to date brought together 41 global organizations with eight premier members that include leading consumer electronics vendors, IC chipset vendors, and broadband CPE vendors.
