Mother Stands Out from the Consumer IoT at CES


The Internet of Things was at the epicenter of this year’s CES, which isn't too surprising. A quick glimpse of Google Trends, for example, confirms that the IoT reached such a level of buzz in 2013 that it is evidently starting to present itself in the consumer space. Of the individual IoT propositions that were showcased at CES, a product called Mother from is perhaps the one that intrigues me the most. I find it a comparatively advanced attempt to productize the Quantified Self concept beyond wearable computing.
