Dropbox and Salesforce.com Join Forces

NEWS

Last week, Dropbox and Salesforce.com announced their partnership. This will bring functionality to the new Salesforce1 mobile platform. According to the press release, Salesforce.com users will be able to access Dropbox files from within the Salesforce1 mobile app and have access to client presentations, invoices, contracts, and meeting notes on the go. In addition, Salesforce.com users will be able to share and collaborate with colleagues easier, as files from Dropbox can be dropped directly in the Chatter feed. This announcement comes on the heels of Dropbox announcing updates to its business service platform in which users will be able to toggle between work and personal files without needing to log out.
