Two Nokia Phablets Announced

Microsoft recently announced that the Windows Phone 8 platform will now support screen sizes of 6-inches. Nokia followed up by announcing two new phablets that take advantage of the latest Windows Phone improvements. The first device, the Nokia Lumia 1520, is billed as the big brother to the Nokia Lumia 1020. At a price of $749, the Lumia 1520 will offer a 20 MP camera, a 6-inch full HD (1080) screen, 2 GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 800 (quad core) processor. At a price of $339, the Lumia 1320 offers the same 6-inches of screen real estate, but with 720p resolution, 1 GB of RAM, a 5 MP camera, and a Snapdragon 400 (dual core) processor. The 1520 will launch initially on the AT&T Network and the 1320 will launch in APAC where phablet adoption has grown rapidly over the past year.
