  • Mobile Broadband Customer Loyalty Skirts Home Operators: UK, France, and German Enterprise Mobile Broadband User Survey Results

    In this research report, data and analysis is provided for a survey of 700 mobile enterprise users from the UK, France, and Germany on laptop, netbook, and media tablet adoption and usage. Survey results provide a review by device type of device and service purchasing entity, personal and business use profile, mobile broadband plan provider and plan type, media tablet purchase intent, and media tablet business application adoption and interests. Interesting results are presented for enterprise user loyalty to their mobile phone service provider for mobile broadband connection services by device type. For example, the survey results show that a higher percentage of Orange France mobile phone customers subscribe to Orange for laptop mobile broadband services than do Orange UK mobile phone customers. The analysis also deciphers the drivers for mobile broadband spend for each country including connected devices per user, corporate liable plans, laptop share of connected devices, business use, and postpaid plan adoption. Included in the data set is the respondent demographic profile by country including vertical industry, occupation, size of business, and age. The survey was conducted in June 2011.
