On my recent trip to the Mobile World Congress I had the usual problem with my smartphone – its battery went dead during an important call to a client (sorry, again). Now you may argue that I should have been better prepared and made sure my smartphone was charged up fully before I left the hotel that morning (and you have a valid point) but why can’t my smartphone battery life be better? If it lasted for a week between charges I’m sure it would help us all, right? I’m not convinced that advancements in battery technology are going to improve this any time soon, so what could?
