During the first half of 2009, the broadband stimulus package was the talk of the telecommunications industry. Some companies, however, were unable to participate during the application process due to tight restrictions, but many others did apply. The criteria, by which they were going to choose if a company’s plan was going to receive a stimulus package or not, were well known.
