Taiwan is already a highly successful wireless market. The country’s competitive landscape of five mobile cellular operators has driven the mobile subscription market to 23 million, which equates to 105% penetration. Even on the broadband side, Taiwan is no emerging market. ITRI and the Taiwanese government report that 68% of households have broadband and 83% of businesses are online. What is next for this innovative island nation?
