Belden Acquires Trapeze: Who's Next?

Belden has just announced that it is acquiring Trapeze Networks for $133 million, approximately twice its 2007 revenue of $57 million. Now, all three 2002 startups that offered the first centralized WLAN architecture (Trapeze, Airespace, and Aruba Networks) have been acquired or gone public. What’s causing this market consolidation?
