Junior Account Manager - Oyster Bay, New York

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing client relationships, by way of ongoing support through proactive conversations and alignment of ABI’s solutions with their changing business needs.


  • Adhere to the key milestones and reporting expectations outlined by ABI’s Account Management Framework
  • Engage with clients on a regular basis to understand their key initiatives and business challenges and collaborate with analysts on their perspective and research recommendations
  • Manage pipeline daily and meet monthly quota
  • Negotiate pricing for renewals, generate quotes for distribution to clients and process orders upon client contract approvals
  • Identify upsell potential by exploring opportunities for additional services and/or custom projects
  • Walk new clients through our account management process, their research, and the key areas of our web site
  • Build knowledge across industries and your client’s business 
  • Work with Client Success and Accounting as needed to resolve issues and enhance client’s user experience

Skills and Competencies:

  • ABI Research is looking for a someone who is proactive, collaborative, and has a passion for developing strategic relationships with their client base
  • The ideal client will be tenacious, coachable and able to work independently in a metric driven, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to handle activity from over 20 accounts
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales tools  


  • An undergraduate degree; B.A./B.S.
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills
  • Fast learner, at ease with technology and working in an entrepreneurial environment
