Sales Development Representative - Oyster Bay, New York

ABI Research is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the Long Island/New York City area. As our Sales Development Representative, you will be focused on generating net new growth opportunities for an expanding sales team. You will seek and qualify new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers, driving high volume and high velocity opportunities for our senior sales team.

Our ideal candidate will have experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. Your strong communication skills will help cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact through deal qualification.  

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Create and qualify leads from marketing campaigns and sales opportunities

  • Understand and leverage the changing business and technology issues and needs facing ABI Research’s targeted and existing client base

  • Identify, align, and collaborate tightly on a high volume of activity (emails and calls), qualifying opportunities for our inside and outside sales teams also driving significant net new sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales goals

  • Aggregate prospect and client interests to the research team

    Sales Development Representative Skills

    We’re looking for professionals with an aptitude for hard work and high activity, along with great time management skills, to balance multiple activities and campaigns while continuing to learn and best position our offerings. Our proprietary research and data products are sold through subscriptions and as standalone reports.

  • 2 years of sales experience, preferably Business to Business

  • Undergraduate degree (B.A/B.S.)
