The Analyst will be responsible for contribution to a research service that will be focused on the following technology areas:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ABI Research clients with strategic advice and insights on the market for Mobile Devices and Applications
  • Help develop ABI Research’s Mobile Devices syndicated information service, providing guidance and input based on clients’ needs and industry trends
  • Maintain a high industry profile, promoting ABI Research’s information services through regular contact with key industry players, participation in industry events, authoring articles, collecting and producing market data, delivering presentations and interacting with the press

Sales Associate - New York, New York

 

This is a growth position for an expanding sales team looking to develop the right individual looking for a career in emerging technology consultative sales.  ABI Research is the industry leader in providing detailed business research material and advisory services around wireless connectivity and newly created markets.  This position is based in Manhattan and reports directly to the manager of the Inside Sales team.

 

All sales efforts are part of an overall team incentivized annual goal. The sales associate position will be responsible for the sales of transactional business made up of individual and bundled reports, data and analysis services as well as managing a variety of business development campaigns to promote ABI Research’s industry leadership.

 

You are responsible for learning and internalizing ABI Research’s value proposition and solutions during initial training, the sales associate will then focus daily individual efforts on inbound lead qualification and lead generation efforts using a variety of internal tools and closing business directly or routing to a senior team member.

 

At all stages of the sales process, attention to detail, understanding of client goals and positive customer service will enable the success of the individual sales associate and that of the larger team.

Responsibilities

 

  • Understand and leverage the changing business and technology issues and needs facing ABI Research’s targeted and existing client base.
  • Primary goal of selling ABI Research transactional products and qualifying larger opportunities for other team members to close.
  • Secondary goal of supporting internal data mining sales campaign efforts to increase overall transactional and potential annual subscription client business.
  • Build and maintain an appropriate incremental sales pipeline for all prospects to achieve sales goals and chart progress towards team goal.

Market Research Manager-Custom Research - New York City

This position reports directly to our Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer.

The Custom Research Manager will be responsible for designing and managing custom qualitative and quantitative research studies to present to clients.  In addition, the Custom Research Manager will support net new sales, account management and research functions for custom consulting engagements.  

Custom consulting activities include:

  • Creation of demand generation materials to meet client’s needs.
  • Ensure collaboration between internal working groups, and apply a strong understanding of market background and trends.  
  • Handle initial prospect engagement, project scoping, internal and external quoting/proposal processes and initial project kick off and on-going participation in our client success process.
  • Secondary work may include engagement and support of our annual subscription prospects and clients including managing contacts and sales campaigns across a variety of organizations with the goal of generating new business.
  • Build an understanding to effectively articulate ABI Research’s value proposition and solutions
  • Assist in project management of work underway and review financial results of completed projects

 

You will be expected to aggressively learn and effectively articulate ABI Research’s value proposition and solutions during initial training, the Custom Research Manager will then focus daily individual efforts supporting designated custom consulting opportunities in tandem with outside sales and research executives and their work with new prospects and existing clients.
