Senior Analyst - Telco - UK/Singapore Office Locations

Reporting to the Telco Cloud Research Director, the analyst will be responsible for research and analysis specializing in forecasting telecom network technologies related to telco cloud, including SDN, NFV and MEC. The role requires a “self-starter” that is equally happy working individually and in small, usually multi-disciplined/multinational groups.

 

The successful analyst will contribute to research services that cover telecom network infrastructure products across various mobile, fixed and Internet markets and will need to have a particular interest in the application of these technologies in adjacent markets, e.g. transport, smart cities, large enterprises and AR/VR.


Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Authoring syndicated research reports, market forecasts, articles and related products within one or more areas of personal expertise
  • Work on custom research and consulting projects, providing leadership on approach and methodology
  • Supporting other analysts were required and providing telco cloud market expertise to other groups research within the organization.

 

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, including strong familiarity with major players, competitive dynamics, technology & business issues, and market trends

Responsibilities

Photo Editor/Teardown Specialist - Dripping Springs, Texas

 

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Teardown specialist may be responsible for taking and editing photos, performing various tests and compiling large amounts of data extracted from mobile devices and components within mobile devices.  An ideal candidate must be familiar with creating and handling files for data compiled, have a very strong eye for details and work under high pressure to meet weekly deadlines.

Senior Account Executive - Singapore

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for driving our regional go to market strategy, selling and growing net new business relationships, actively managing and growing existing/assigned accounts, and selling new consulting opportunities. The Senior Account Executive will be heavily focused on net new sales, net contract value increase of existing accounts and account management activities representing syndicated research, advisory services, and consulting. This is a very exciting leadership role with immense opportunities for a candidate demonstrating the right attitude and commercial acumen.

Specific responsibilities include:

Net New Sales Execution

  • Driving activities to establish net new commercial client relationships within an assigned territory
  • Converting new business opportunities within assigned client companies
  • Preparing quotes, distributing quotes to prospects, processing orders upon client acceptance
  • Driving a pipeline that supports assigned new business goals of the region
  • Identify key events in the region where ABI Research analysts should be involved
  • Work with the CSO to agree on a medium to long term strategy and travel budget allocation accordingly.

Net Contract Value Increase (NCVI) and Account Management

  • Establish strong commercial relationships with assigned clients
  • Creatively engaging clients to understand their issues and needs, then matching them with the appropriate products and services
  • Working with Client Relations on user Account Management (i.e.: adding, deleting, monitoring access)
  • Working with Client Relations to assist clients with various issues (i.e.: login, registration, etc.)
  • Working with other colleagues to support client request and renew syndicated relationships

  • Engage with the Head of Custom and the Head on Research on selected, key custom engagement ideas
  • Preparing consulting quotes in tandem with our Custom Consulting team, distributing quotes to prospects, processing orders upon client acceptance
  • Monitor any active custom engagement throughout the delivery process to ensure customer satisfaction, anticipate potential challenges and identify potential upsell and all elements of the project lifecycle including securing payment of the projects.
  • Creating and maintaining a pipeline that supports the Consulting goals of the company

Additional Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the overall business goals of the company
  • Always maintain an accurate and timely records of our commercial activities on the company CRM system
