ABI Research is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

Graphic Designer - Oyster Bay, New York

As part of the Marketing team, the Graphic Designer will be working with a small creative team to design all corporate and promotional materials, both digital and print, as well as custom research projects for our clients. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating a wide range of materials that may include web pages, PowerPoint presentations, sales collateral, whitepapers, infographics, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word templates, as well as templates in marketing automation software. The right candidate must be able to create solid designs for a variety of marketing communications media and follow creative strategy as set by senior leaders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or a related field

  • 3-5 years of design experience

  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • A strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Experience with Web coding and programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, WordPress, Python, Django and JavaScript

  • Performing design work and creating email and landing page templates in marketing automation systems, such as Pardot

  • Excellent typography and layout skills

  • Must be able to work within established visual styles as well as create new ones

Junior Account Manager - Oyster Bay, New York

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing client relationships, by way of ongoing support through proactive conversations and alignment of ABI’s solutions with their changing business needs.

Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to the key milestones and reporting expectations outlined by ABI’s Account Management Framework

    • Engage with clients on a regular basis to understand their key initiatives and business challenges and collaborate with analysts on their perspective and research recommendations

    • Manage pipeline daily and meet monthly quota

    • Negotiate pricing for renewals, generate quotes for distribution to clients and process orders upon client contract approvals

    • Identify upsell potential by exploring opportunities for additional services and/or custom projects

    • Walk new clients through our account management process, their research, and the key areas of our web site

    • Build knowledge across industries and your client’s business 

    • Work with Client Success and Accounting as needed to resolve issues and enhance client’s user experience

 

Skills and Competencies:

    • ABI Research is looking for a someone who is proactive, collaborative, and has a passion for developing strategic relationships with their client base

    • The ideal client will be tenacious, coachable and able to work independently in a metric driven, results-oriented environment

    • Ability to handle activity from over 20 accounts

    • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales tools

Senior Account Executive - USA

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for developing new business relationships, managing a list of existing/assigned accounts, and developing new consulting opportunities. The Senior Account Executive will be engaged in account management and business development activities representing syndicated research, advisory services, and consulting.

Specific responsibilities include:

New Business Development

  • Prospecting for new client relationships within an assigned territory
  • Developing new business opportunities within assigned client companies
  • Preparing quotes, distributing quotes to prospects, processing orders upon client acceptance
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline that supports the New Business goals of the company

Account Management

  • Developing strong relationships with assigned clients
  • Engaging clients to understand their issues and needs, then matching them with the appropriate products and services
  • Working with Client Relations on user Account Management (i.e.: adding, deleting, monitoring access)
  • Working with Client Relations to assist clients with various issues (i.e.: login, registration, etc.)
  • Working with other colleagues to support client request and renew syndicated relationships
  • Preparing quotes, distributing quotes to clients, and processing order upon client acceptance for renewals

Consulting Business Development

  • Prospecting for new consulting opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Developing new consulting opportunities within assigned client companies
  • Preparing consulting quotes, distributing quotes to prospects, processing orders upon client acceptance
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline that supports the Consulting goals of the company

Additional Responsibilities

  • Working with other colleagues to achieve the overall business goals of the company
  • Supporting the goals and objectives of other divisions of the company

Skills

ABI Research is looking for people who are self-starters who can manage their time and balance multiple activities while closing sales and managing assigned accounts. Our products are proprietary research and data products and are sold through both subscriptions and as standalone reports and data. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree; a B.A./B.S. is required
  • At least five years of proven sales experience selling into large enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling syndicated research and consulting services
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Good telephone and written communication skills
  • Team player
  • Fast learner and at ease with technology and working in an entrepreneurial environment
