O2 UK to launch its 4G network from 29th August

O2 UK will start to switch on 4G network from 29th August 2013, firstly in London, Leeds and Bradford with five million people covered, and then extend to 13 cities by the end of year to reach 98% of the UK population both indoor and outdoor in its 2G, 3G and 4G networks. 

In order to allow more people to experience and enjoy the benefits of 4G, O2 will introduce a range of tariffs starting at £26 a month. Besides, business customers will be offered tariff for tablet, mobile broadband and mobile Wifi as well. O2 now is comprehensively promoting its 4G network through inviting people to get 4G-ready handset and free 4G SIM, providing free 4G services and guidance. It is no doubt that 4G will transform people’s lives, allowing for a whole new world of opportunity.
