Samsung seems to be winning the handset/smartphone numbers game, but will it also win out in the Intellectual Property Wars? The lawsuits will continue as the size and value of the smartphone market is just too large. The patent lawsuits are financial pressure points that will ultimately help establish the “new order” of patent royalty relationships that will govern the next two decades or so.
