Nintendo announced sales of its next generation console (Wii U) topped 400K units in North America during its first week on the market. It is certainly early for the Wii U and there have been some early growing pains. Overall, Nintendo’s Wii U is a better match for the current generation of consoles which is increasingly relying on the core gamer.
