ABI Research decided to experiment with DYI methods of the pairing of media tablets with HDTVs using a typical broadband home-network. We tried pairing a 10-inch Motorola Xoom tablet based on Android 4.1 with an LG display and then paired a 10-inch Motorola Xoom tablet based on Android 4.1 with an LG display. Enjoying the full wireless experience will not yet be possible for most, but it is a sign of progress in the connected home.
