In this market Broadcom dominates, supplying all major OEMs. My bet is that Samsung will not choose to compete with Broadcom directly in the short term, but instead will use the technology know-how it has gained through the acquisition of CSR to develop competing integrated platform IC solutions to rival another of its suppliers, Qualcomm.
