Apple announced that it would include free turn-by-turn navigation as part of its next iOS 6 release, and will give it an Apple twist in terms of the user experience. Another equally important announcement is the integration of Siri Eyes Free natural language voice technology in vehicles. Apple has decided to enter into a major licensing deal with TomTom—at least for the short term.
