In this research report, data and analysis is provided for a survey of 700 French mobile enterprise users segmented by mobile phone ownership: smartphone users and non-smartphone users. Survey questions covered topics of mobile phone brand and OS ownership, device feature and service interests, customer profiles by spend, purchase entity and personal/business use, security service adoption and interests, and mobile enterprise application use and interests. Also included are laptop, netbook, and media tablet ownership, use, purchase entity, and mobile broadband spend. Questions answered from the report include: How does BlackBerry ownership compare to Apple and Android? Which operators are enterprise users choosing? Which device features and services show the greatest differences between smartphone and non-smartphone owners? What are non-smartphone owner adoption and interests in Wi-Fi services? How do security service and mobile broadband users differ between the smartphone and non-smartphone groups? What are the adoption and interests in mobile video services, unified calling/messaging, and collaboration applications? Included in the data set is the respondent demographic profile including vertical industry, occupation, size of business, and age. The survey was conducted in June 2011.
