ABI Research’s Technology Barometer™: Connected Home & Computing (1Q '2011 Global Summary) is a primary research-based tracking study that provides dynamic views and insight into the constantly changing global consumer electronics market. In March 2011, a total of 8024 consumers in 7 countries completed a comprehensive online questionnaire that gathered information on current ownership and next 6 month purchase intentions for a number of consumer electronics products, including DVRs, Blu-ray players, video game consoles, digital media adapters, digital photo frames, standalone digital cameras, digital camcorder/video recorders, portable video game devices, MP3/portable media players, HDTVs, desktops, laptops, netbooks, and tablets.
