On March 24, Alcatel-Lucent announced that it has been selected to participate in China Mobile’s TD-LTE trial and that the Alcatel-Lucent equipment will be deployed in Shanghai. Alcatel-Lucent is one of at least ten infrastructure vendors who have participated in TD-LTE testing in China over the past year and this year China Mobile has already announced plans for TD-LTE trial deployments in six cities.
