This week Orange hosted a call on its growing M2M business, making clear that this is an area in which the SIM card is being utilized to open new revenue streams. The new revenue streams come from connecting more devices and equipment for a variety of purposes. In summary, Orange confirmed that it has over 2.4m SIMs deployed in M2M applications, supported by an international M2M center, which resulted in growth of over 40% in 2010.
