Google TV
Intel, Logitech, Sony and Dish Network Bring the Internet to Your Living Room
Research Report
The Google TV platform will enable the most visible consumer electronics devices to-date, providing access to "the full Internet" rather than a walled garden. It is the first (along with Dish Network) to integrate pay-TV content (linear TV, DVR recordings and VOD) with online video sources. Sony Internet TV and Logitech Revue box will be ready for the holiday shopping season. The platform is aimed at a large market including Blu-ray players, Digital media adapters, set-top boxes, and Internet-connected TVs.
