Qualcomm’s Chipsets Have Been Ready and Waiting for LightSquared

Recently, there has been speculation in the press that Qualcomm might be developing WWAN/satellite chipsets for LightSquared. On October 7, 2010 this partnership was finally announced. ABI Research points out that these chipsets have already been developed and are ready to be designed into devices and leveraged by LightSquared. Here is the background:
