New Rules

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) occasionally issues new rules, and it recently came out with a doozy. As a result, starting in July 2011, more than 15,000 of the leading emitters of greenhouse gases (GHGs) will be legally required to obtain permits if those emissions climb above certain critical thresholds, certifying that they have used the “best available control technologies” to reduce those emissions.
