Home Computer Meltdown Peace of Mind: Priceless
In recent years, I, like many other consumers, have become increasingly reliant on my home computer. I didn’t realize quite how much I relied on it, though, until recently, when it died. It was my fault; I admit it. It’s a laptop, and I dropped it. Yes, dropped it. That was more than a week ago, and I am still waiting patiently for a new hard drive to be installed. While I haven’t been told explicitly, I have no doubt that all of the pictures and documents that were on my hard drive are unrecoverable. Interestingly enough, though, I am less upset about this than I might have been and all because of a survey that ABI conducted among US consumers earlier this year.
