Sprint Nextel Officially Launches Xohm: What Does This Mean for the Industry?
After at least a year of delays, Sprint Nextel finally officially launched Xohm and is finally able to show off what it can accomplish with its WiMAX network something that has been a long time coming. However, unlike UQ Communications, which will create substantial network coverage in Japan before launching in the summer of 2009, Sprint Nextel has launched Xohm in just one city: Baltimore.
