Performance and Price Lead Passive UHF Tag Selection Criteria among End-Users
RFID vendors and solutions providers care a great deal about end-user selection criteria for specific RFID products and services. In this ABI Insight, we review which factors are most important during passive UHF transponder/tag selection and evaluation. As part of our 2008 RFID end-user survey, we asked respondents to rate the importance of certain transponder/tag selection criteria. In order to highlight the level of importance of select passive UHF transponder/tag selection criteria, ABI filtered through the respondent base and culled responses specific to those end users currently using, evaluating, or planning to install a passive UHF system.
